    That's one of the smartest things said here for months.
    Indeed why tie yourself to a car maker or even a battery maker who have no resources experience.
    Apart from locking us into their brand and agreed price what would they bring to the table apart from up front cash?

    Much better to take the longer view and be part of a free market once mining commences.
