Not sure if you caught a recent talk of Buffett's or not but he acknowledged that he could make much bigger % profits playing on a small scale in less looked over areas then he could do with the fund.
He may be talking about acting in a very similar way to me.
By all means assume he would do a better job but the point is there are similarities.
