from my understanding the plan was for the trucks to dump pass or inert waste, and then return full of the gravel. if the full 1 million tons of pass is dumped each year, then at 40 tons per truck we have 25000 trucks per year for pass dumping. divide that by 50 weeks (take out p/h, down time and what not) gives 500 trucks a week. its still a working mine site, (which from my experience run 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year), so 500 trucks divided by 7 days give us just over 70 trucks a day. divide this by a 12 hour day, give us about 6 trucks an hour. plenty of time for a truck to dump, drive off, fill with gravel and drive out. and remember this is at the projected maximum of 1 million tons per year. if that number drops to 800,000 tons then we drop to about 5 trucks per hour.
