    I must admit I read a recent post by one of the self-appointed guardians of unsuspecting shareholders regarding the likelihood of the Latrobe Valley becoming a prime location for PASS and it in theory sounded feasible. However, the idea is not new - in fact it was proposed several years ago but was rejected.
    The concept was to put PASS in train wagons and rail it to the Latrobe Valley, then truck it to the actual pits.
    The bureaucrats thought it sounded great until it was pointed out to them that to what was proposed was to:
    1. Load the PASS from the tunnel conveyors into trucks;
    2. Drive the trucks to a rail siding in Melbourne;
    3. Dump the PASS onto stockpiles;
    4. Dig it up and load it into rail wagons;
    5. Rail the PASS to the Latrobe Valley;
    6. Unload the PASS from the rail wagons onto stockpiles;
    7. Dig it up and load the PASS into trucks and truck it to a coal pit;
    8. Unload the PASS at the coal pit, test it, and then convey it into the coal pit.

    If there is a plan to now road freight the PASS /WASS to the Latrobe Valley the Nagambie Pits are looking better by the minute.
