The UK Labour party do support shale but they want to posture themselves as a Greener party and therefore making further amendment that will impose more misery and red tape for Cuadrilla. But all four major parties (Con, Lib Dem, UKIP and Lab) do seem to support shale, albeit, some of them are reluctantly.
