Very interesting read about an emerging successful hedge fund manager, John Burbank, from Passport Capital, who has successfully invested in mining and energy, famously in coking coal play, Riversdale Mining.

Soon after selling into the Riversdale offer, Passport Capital was busy buying into Indonesian coking coal play, Cokal.

The article also mentions that John was recently in Mongolia assessing opportunities.

CEO has exposure to both Mongolia and Indonesia and a nice find of coking coal at either would definitely hit John's radar!
