Under what laws will BARDA or the military stop other companies from manufacturing and selling similar devices once the patent expires? I thought they would benefit being able to purchase from other cheap providers.
What if GE Healthcare or Phillips Healthcare with enormous industrial capacity and reputation started building their own recell devices after the patent ends and sold it for half the price?
