Lets just be clear here. The kit seems to have morphed from "cosmetic improvements" and"potential cost savings" into a "life saving burn treatment".
Where did that come from?
Even in the presentations there is really no way to know from the case studies just how much of a difference the kit actually contributed to the outcomes. Just looking a the photos you can't tell how much of the tissue damage was realtively superficial and would have healed well anyway.
As has been pointed out, the final arbiter will be acceptance by surgeons, not promotional material from the company.
