A "Patent" means a lot in the Biotech sector.
It means a producer of certain drugs has exclusive rights to produce & market them & of-course that product which is their intellectual property has met all necessary hurdles to go from Textbook stage to Commercial level (also paper as that what currencies are made from). This isn't the exact definition though.
We saw 159 million shares trade yesterday, its not even 12 noon & we've already touched 11m, the lunchtime brigade is coming.
In the meantime, have a read of news on Dendreon's website.
Dendreon are based out of Seattle. If I remember correctly, in PRR's presentation they had mentioned about their noble laureates & experts based out of Seattle too.
Small world or closely knit scientific community with commercial experience!!
Time will tell how mid May they FDA application progresses.
