I have not heard any more on this since 26 August 2014 when GTG announced they had a win against Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK) in United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. Basically, GSK claimed that
"GTG patent covers natural phenomena or laws of nature that are not entitled to patent protection."
GTG stated that since the claim had been dismissed it would pave the way for negotiations to proceed.
It's almost 12 months since this announcement. Is anyone aware of progress?
