Patent update, page-22

Hi there before my motives are questioned just clarify my position I was a holder from about mid 10s and sold when it dropped through 80c. Just thinking about maybe getting in again. I'm not too concerned about the price around current levels, just the chances of success because if this takes off I'm sure a few cents here or there won't matter.

Many years (decades) ago it was mentioned to me by a patent attorney that the Aus patent office was about granting applications and having voracity sorted out by court challenge whereas us patent office tested the voracity of the application and once granted was pretty secure. I'm not sure how things work now or where the EU sits on this spectrum but the difficulties at the time with US got me nervous about holding and I sold. Is this still the general gist and what is the reason for NOX's confidence around the us patent grant, is it simply administrative matter now or are there still objections to address / assessor to convince etc?

Also I understand the ip protection being sought relates to the formulation and delivery method, not the active ingredient. Does anyone know if NOX have any reason to believe the ingredient will only be effective if formulated and delivered in a manner that falls within scope of IP protection. Is it possible that same or maybe even better effectiveness can be achieved by an alternative delivery method of the same ingredient. It would make substantial difference to the valuation IMO. Or is this just one of the risks of this stock and one of the reasons it is not trading at a few dollars.
