Patent updates

So there has been a fair amount of patent activity recently and I thought I'd summarise and add my opinions. I've just focussing on US here.
Details below, but my takeaway is that NOX still seem to be facing a particularly long and painful battle to secure patent protection. On the positive side, they are actively pursuing, and one or two of the applications are looking good.

On a related note, I haven't seen any recent updates on FDA exclusivity since June 2019: "The Company also is in preparation to apply to the FDA for Orphan Drug Designation in H2 2019". Does anyone know if application went ahead and any outcome?

Notes: Looking good; potentially minor technicalities only remaining

CHEMOTHERAPY IMPROVEMENTS (US 16094925)
Last status: FINAL REJECTION 10/08/2020

Notes: Abandoned?

Haven't seen the new IMMUNO focussed application hit the USPO, but the ISA Written Opinion is not great for NOX.
