Why start another thread? We were discussing this already, no need to create more clog.
Irrespective of patent expiry which is a long, long way away, from what I recall one of the board saying many years ago, the patents do not include the 'creation'/build process. So anyone looking to copy is going to have a hard time piecing our product together.
Again, years away from this being a remote sniff of an issue
