I have been thinking about ESIs new position.

The company timeline is very interesting if you go back to about 7-8 months ago:

    "ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN TECHNOLOGIES
    FORMS
    STRATEGIC ALLIANCE WITH JC STEELE

Tuesday, 19 October 2010: Environmental Clean Technologies Limited (ASX:ESI) has taken
another step toward commercialising its revolutionary Coldry brown coal drying technology, forming a strategic alliance with United States based global equipment supplier JC Steele & Sons (JCS).

    * Significant in-kind contribution from JCS
    * Improved commercial scale production outcomes for Coldry
    * Enhanced Coldry pellet strength and durability

The Collaboration Agreement means JCS will supply a series 25 pug mill and extruder combination,
at its cost to ECTs Coldry pilot plant at Bacchus Marsh, with a replacement value in excess of $250,000,
which will assist in the localisation study leading to the Victoria Coldry Projectat Loy Yang Power Station and enable ECT to produce larger test burn quantities of Coldry for its sales prospects.

The deal will deliver world-class support for the ongoing refinement and optimisation of a key stage in the Coldry process.

Under the terms of the agreement JCS will retain ownership of the equipment, ECT will managethe installation and maintenance, with JC Steele providing O&M services and support, and being recognised as ECTs preferred supplier as it moves toward establishing Coldry plants around the
world. ECT and JCS will engage in joint testing and development activities".

Just porior to this, as announced by the company -

"Coldry - China Patent Fully Issued

    Thursday, 19 August 2010:
    Environmental Clean Technologies Limited
(ASX:ESI) is pleased to announce that the companys Coldry Chinese patent application no. 200480031850.2 has now
    been issued as a patent.

The official patent number is ZL200480031850.2.

China represents the largest energy market in the world and remains a key focus for Coldry deployment.
This transition from pending application to full patent in China for Coldry technology is an important development in the companys broader Intellectual Property strategy".

***That, to me, is an 'in your face' introduction to the concept that ESI has just layed its commercial, hungry hands on.

Then we always had Tincom in the background, with pomp and ceremony that Vietnam was accustomed to...which ultimately tied us up with a lot of our Salespower.

    We announced this:

"Monday 18 January 2010: Environmental Clean Technologies Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ELBIS - a wholly owned subsidiary of the State controlled power utility Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. (PGE),
to co-develop a localised business case for a Coldry plant in Poland".

I am pretty confident that what we were seeing at that point in time was the well timed execution of a plan beginning with:

    a) being supplied with New Extruders to supply test burns in different countries

    b) therby establishing an industrial profile

    c) leading on to Coal Supply Agreements around the world

    d) with a view to building Coldry Production Plants in various places.

    e) Backing from JCSteele,

Two countries signed up early, before production for test burns had begun.
The company caught up and begun producing test burn quantities and having the results included in their Sales approach.

Tincom loved our Technology and didn't want to lose it.
In my opinion, they took a kind of option over future business with by becoming a partner early on, a relationship that would take years to become commercialised in full.
And IMO, Tincom then dragged the chain and held up other negotiations that would have been popping up in the background for our Sales Team.

China then became the background objects in my opinoin, as the ESI team engaged in sealing the Tincom deal...promoting us in conferencing with Industry Leaders and Specialists...all the while keeping the name Coldry in the mdeia mix.

ESI Shareholders could well see this persistence as the backbone to the companies future.
I think that after ESI were held up so much that they began sacrificing deals with other countries due to Tincoms meaningful (but flimsy) exclusivity arrangements with VicColdry, ESIs Management finally asked them to take their 3rd strike and they were out.

NOW...NOW ESI has China, on a welcome mat.
    More specifically, ESI has DATANG
    - the worlds 3rd largest generator of Power.

Its more than likely that DATANG was floating around in the background twiddling their thumbs patiently while Tincom did their fesibility studies on Coldry.

Now, ESI is in a very smart position indeed.
It has already been said that Kos and his team have had contact/discussions of one form or another with something like 25/50 of the worlds largest Power Generators.

We now have all the feasibility studies to contribute to a sales process...along with Coldry Pellets which are being produced 24hrs a day....along with a long list of well qualified potential business partners who have been generated over the last 2 yrs.

The company has never been in a better instantaneous position, and with good practical backing:

"with JC Steele providing O&M services and support, and being recognised as ECTs preferred supplier as it moves toward establishing Coldry plants around the
world. ECT and JCS will engage in joint testing and development activities .
