The thing that gets to me vercengetrix, is when people like Muss24 say that the tech isn't worth a great deal, why in the hell then are the Canadians looking to use metalstorm tech in it's advanced combat rifle they are building? where they will use electronically fired stacked round tech to build this weapon, they say they want to incorporate the technology in the rifle, the grenade launcher and perhaps a MAUL as well, all in the same weapon?
Why else would Raytheon be trying to steal Metalstorm,s IP in a round that has two projectiles in the same cartridge,yes they know that a BFMG by Metalstorm would make their Phalanx obsolete, this is why they are attempting to steal this IP, metalstorm told me some time ago that they were aware of this attempt to steal that IP, but they did nothing about it?
The US Army also has a patent of their own in a 120mm Tank round which is using/stealing Metalstorm IP?
But the big daddy of them all is the mach 5/50 tech which the US is attempting to steal, and not one person is saying bugger all about this dastardly act by the US? this tech alone is worth billions!
I bet that the administrator wasn't even allowed to offer the 40mm 3GL to someone like ST Kinetics for instance, I am willing to bet that they would have jumped at the chance, the reason why it wasn't offered to them I believe is that the US would not allow any other country to possess Metalstorm technology in any shape or form, even fireworks or handguns it would seem, too bad that the Chinese have been working on the tech, for wellover five years or more now, I will bet they already have working models, if someone was going to steal the tech? well at least I could understand if it were the Chinese? But the US? KD? that would not sit well with me.
