I reckon it has already happened Fred, this has to be metalstorm technology being used in this but the US Army calls it it's own?

It is a large calibre round designed to fit US Artillery or the guns mounted on some of it's Heavy Tanks, it fires rounds from smaller barrels mounted in the larger round, it doesn't actually use the Guns barrel, it just uses the breech to mount the larger round with smaller barrels inside, so the projectiles travel inside the larger barrel without actually touching it!
