ARV have many options, including a deal with Newcrest like the deal with Greatlands.
Depth is no problem as can be seen from the Telfer and Cadia mines where Newcrest have successfully been mining bulk underground using sub-level caving and block/panel caving techniques.
Telfer also has a substantial open pit operation and of course the plant required to process the ore. ARV would only need to dig it out and haul the ore to Telfer for toll processing and that could be done by a contractor as is done by other miners.
I am sure they will look at all the options and decide on the one that delivers the most benefits to the shareholders.
