A sustainable business model requires purchases from customers, not distributors. It's quite likely that 3M and Zimmer are sitting on large stock holdings from recent purchases with pressure from NXS to boost the numbers for the IPO and first few months. It will probably be at least 6-12 months before numbers from NXS are a true reflection of whether customers are buying the products. Close scrutiny of these numbers vs forecast and delivery of other product claims are what should determine the valuation.
