If we looked at P2 there was no mention of intersecting hydrocarbons etc all they confirmed was they found ABC sands and cored and all of this was after they had finished.
The mentioned only one thing . They intercepted a MONTARA formation. Why did they mention that.. it was materially different to the a,b,c sands they encountered in P1 and obviously P2 as they were drilling through the reservoir.
By definition again. The longer the better for notification as it would mean they have encountered A,B and C sands in the structure .. we will hear nothing hopefully until they have actually completed coring logging etc this is great news if it takes a few weeks as it means they have found the same as what they had in P1 and P2
It took 5 weeks from TD at the last well to inform market so lets do things right
ALSO it took WPL 9 holeS before announcing a 6.6 TCF find in Toorosa field ???????? It also never flowed to the down dip like our P2 but did to the updip we are on trend so we hope we mirror that result
THE POINT..IT is my understanding that UNLESS IT IS MATERIALLY DIFFERENT TO OTHER APPRAISAL WELLS IN THE FIELD UNDER ASX RULES THEY WILL NOT INFORM THE MARKET.
