Brockman Resources Ltd. is developing the 100% owned Marillana Iron Ore Project located 100km north-west of Newman in the heart of the Pilbara iron ore province in Western Australia. The tenement has a 16km strike length along the base of the Hamersley Range, where the total mineral resource exceeds 1.1 B tonnes of iron ore. Brockman has recently awarded the Definitive Feasibility Study for Phase 1 of the project and is on target for start up of production by late 2009.

Reporting to the General Manager – Project Development, we are seeking a highly motivated professional to join the experienced management team for the development of Phase 1 of the Marillana Project. This position will play a significant role in the hands-on management of the first phase of the company’s iron ore development plans.

You will possess strong planning skills along with highly developed verbal and written communications for liaison with stakeholders and consultants. You will be able to utilise your previous management experience in the co-ordination of all aspects of the project execution from the feasibility study through to construction. Ideally, you will have tertiary engineering qualifications with a sound understanding of modern project management principles and any experience in the resources sector EPCM engineering environment will be highly regarded.
