My theory is, first they grab like a million shares, create buzz, bring price up. Then they short sell (not using all the shares) and make retailers dump the shares. Then they fish at the bottom while blocking a rise with a huge sell queue (with the other half a million they're still holding) at a low price. They suppress for weeks and weeks till everyone gives up
