I do not post to influence others- mostly I do it as part of ordering my own thoughts on a stock and on my investing style.
Mostly I began buying this because this is a great stock for 'reopening' and post-covid- my reasoning.
Mostly I have sold it- to take advantage of it trading in a range- and several times when my sentiment changed on the economy reopening. Never sold it at a loss.
Twice held this at a large paper loss in 2022 before taking a profit.
Building approvals have fallen three ASB monthly announcements in a row- this is influencing me more than day to day hopes that central banks may pause or slow down rate increases.
Just my take.
Yes, I appear to be timing the market and there is strong support for long term 'buy and hold'. Still a lot to learn.
Still impressed with management and the quality of the assets etc. Yes, EV is somewhat larger than MV- but write downs can and do happen.
You may remind me of this post if the SP takes off without me.
