Shareholder value is about in truth is a good return (dividend) or interest paid on the capital invested. This may take time to materialise. There is a price to be paid for waiting for a good return (sharehlder value). Many want immediate returns, in fact that is a particular condition of our financial age. The last few years are a reflection of that. If the board and serious stakeholders have faith in shareholder value in the long term getting the deals in order is the way to go. A quick profit, share price rocket today will surely run out of steam if the ongoing dealing at the front office level dried up. I am sure a number of interested parties will be quite happy buying up share by share and slowly but surely increasing their holdings for significant news/deals to come. I am sure chinese stakeholders continuing to acquire ORD stock as well as % holdings of SARCO etc... will be slowly increasing their overall group % holding... Chinese plans are LONG term plans... certain countries plan by the year some by decades and centuries. I am in no doubt where are friends to the North fit in to this. I am a very long term patient holder.
