Interestingly, I've just read an article that Tesla is now worth more than Ford which is absurd considering that Tesla is strapped with so much debt (and had to recently ask investors for more cash) and delivers less than 1% of what Ford does (who also have a much better balance sheet).
Although I believe that electric cars are the future, yet I think that even at the current state right now Tesla is ludicrously overvalued based on fundamentals. But that's the stock market, I'm trying to figure out how much CAD will be worth based on how much lithium can be produced from our tenements. Other companies that come to mind would be Orocobre, and at its all time high meant a market cap of a billion dollars...
