pretty sure there hasnt been 10 patients yet, and also think only 2 have died. dont know the ins and outs of it but they dont give experimental devices to people that are still relatively healthy, these people are going to die and the fact that 3 out of the 5 (i think) implanted are prospering i believe is a huge success.
