I think Karoon management had a media leak on the rig as The Age reporter that morning prior to the stuck tool announcment had reported the incident prior to the actual report being announced to the ASX. Clearly this is a major leak which was price sensitive.

I would say KAR management have tightened up on the leaks maybe even found the source and got rid of that person.

Personally, I think they are going to announce the tests and estimates all in one go. They have never gone beyond one week between announcements since Posieden #1 was spudded.
