There seems to be no end of stories coming out about P.M. Kevin Rudds management style. Most are not complimentary.
Here's another;
Article from: The Australian
"ONE of the most prestigious diplomatic jobs in Australia - foreign policy mandarin in the Prime Minister's Department - has been vacant for months because no one approached so far is willing to take the post, which involves working closely with Kevin Rudd.
The Prime Minister's office confirmed last night the vacancy - first assistant secretary in the international division of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet - had been filled in an acting capacity since the departure of Hugh Borrowman, the diplomat Mr Rudd vetoed as next ambassador to Germany.
The Australian understands two senior Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade bureaucrats had rejected approaches to replace Mr Borrowman." (end quote)
The article goes on to say that the major concern held by most is Mr Rudds, "micro management".
I am at a complete loss to understand how the P.M. can maintain to hold such a high personal popularity in 'Opinion Polls". No one ever "polls" me, so who do they "poll"?
The view of the "Polls" doesn't seem to be shared by the Diplomats. They have probably, "lived and learned" through their experiences.
cheers.
