I agree with what you say although I think your example of PCL is not a realistic comparison. PCL is a Oil exploration company. They dont make profits nor do they have a business which is generating increasing revenues and profits. As such PCL could rise and fall on pure hype.

I calculate the 30 week moving average at around 1.84

I will be very disappointed if the price get near this price and if it does I will back my judgement and not sell
