Coleman is doing a terrific job. They also recently donated some money for the bougainville sporting team. There is a lot going on at ground level I am being told by a friend i went to highschool with that lives over there. It is a long process but community sentiment is genuinely turning and consultation is advancing. Definately a big year for boc this year... make or break in my opinion. The jsb meeting and the announcement by Chan about reviewing mining policy re landowners sends me the impression that a fairer deal between federal government, and landowners and the ABG will be in place before a deal is finally negotiated. The negotiations at panguna will set the tone for it all. Between time, talks, reconcilliation remain positive and more importantly momentum is gaining.
