if you're going to be looking at RAD, I would highly suggest looking at Clarity Pharmaceuticals and Telix Pharmaceuticals and tracking their development.
A radiopharmaceutical drug will have a radioisotope and a biomarker and both of these will have an effect on the manufacturing and efficacy of the drug. Every radioisotope has a companion isotope that will be used for imaging and therapy (GA-68 is used for imaging, and Lu177 is used for therapy - Clarity uses CU64 for diagnostics and Cu67 for therapy). Radiopharmaceutical companies would usually use the same biomarker, but change the radioisotope depending on the use.
It is easy to get approval for an imaging drug and this is what Telix Pharmaceuticals has leveraged. Their recent share price ascent is due to approvals on their imaging product.
From an investor standpoint, it is less risky to bet on RAD as naturally imaging trials will be completed earlier and will have lower side effects. This will then most likely lead to an approval. Then their therapeutic products will then follow along on. Usually, imaging trials will show evidence that the biomarker they are using is able to find tumors that are not seen by the usual standard of care imaging agents. This will then provide more evidence of the ability of their therapeutic agents to find the right tumor and from there it's just a matter of whether their chosen radioisotope is able to kill the tumor.
Manufacturing is a different beast to conquer, but it is definitely less complicated than CHM's manufacturing.
