There are many who are uncomfortable with or reject the teachings of Paul. The claim is he's not a real Apostle, a fraud etc since he was not pre-ascension chosen by Christ As such how can anyone be expected to believe his claims ? They claim that ONLY the 12 ( Peter etc) are to be listened to & believed. Ok, based on that selection criteria, when did Christ select Matthias ? There's NOTHING about him in the Gospels. Nowhere in the Gospels do any of the 12 speak or hint of Matthias. The only mention of Matthias is in Acts.
