OK I see now you are worried about a trade deficit. Don't be. Trade deficits just mean that we are importing more than we are exporting. Which means we are winning! Exporting is giving to others, importing is taking from others. Trade deficits means they are working harder while we sit back and enjoy the Australian lifestyle. In fact for almost all our history we have ran trade deficits. Its a sign of success.

You also presume China is evil and Japan is good. Try getting your citizenship in Japan, it will be harder than in China. That is because Japan does not want you. Go to Japan and see how you are treated - then go to China and see how you are treated. Chinese people and Government are much more willing to work with Australians.
