Really I think MMX will be wound up with proceeds returned to shareholders. But buying an "advanced" project will do them no good. How would they raise money based on their record ? They probably need to go greenfields, Africa, base metals to get better risk / return metrics. Australia too hard, too much sovereign risk with Wayne swan and the welsh woman's love for taxes, bob browns love of all things furry, bill shortens love of unions, and total lack of prospectively outside bhps, rios, and xstratas tenements. Go to the dark continent and ramp that share price. Atleast you get support off the governments in Africa.
