Yes we do still have some rights and ability to speak our minds but it is being erroded away bit by bit

Allmost all Australians will welcome people from other places BUT we do not like them imposing their views, and lifestyle or their laws over ours and coming uninvited

I think that Pauline appealed to about 30% of the Australian people because these people thought that the conservative parties had let them down and did not represent them anymore and regardless of what or how Pauline spoke she did say it in words that they could understand
When I was young I was told that the politicians represented us the people but now I know that's not true so people will always be looking for the magic cure for our political future.
