How do Roberts' efforts to renounce citizenship compare to Dastyaris?
Dastayri knows he is Iranian, has publicy stated that and needed to follow the prescribed procedure to denounce citizenship.
Roberts is being coy, not playing straight. Playing games. Presents shifting information over time full of inconsistencies. Maybe trying to set the media up for a Gotcha moment as if playing them like a fish.
Although he has previously stated that he chooses to believe that he has never been a British citizen.
At the same time he hasn't shown any paperwork that states that the UK have ever had him registered as British.
So it may be like the Matto, Italian situation. Entitled to citizenship by bloodlines but unlike Matto and his Mum's actions, nothing has been done to activate it.
