20% of Queensland in 1998 and 5% of NSW now - may well not be a majority - but, it is a number that should be treated with respect.

Especially when one thinks of that there are probably a lot more out there who may think similar or in a similar vein - but, not enough to vote.

This is the dilemma for major parties - neither of them have been able to address the people who think this way.

They have put them in the 'too hard' basket and just ignored them.

I believe this is a mistake. Call it an untapped market if you like.


I believe it is possible to tread a progressive line - but, salve the hurts of this minority at the same time - but, neither party has dared to take it on.

It would be relatively easy in my book.

All that would really be necessary is to support immigration of solid people - including refugees - to a limit - but, to come down very very hard on those few who transgress -------------- like the machete mob on Melbourne trams - and the mob who are carjacking normal people in Melbourne suburbs whose only crime is to drive cars that cost a few bucks -

any imported trash found like this ----------------------------- straight into the wombat ejector ---------- no questions asked - no quarter given - no appeals, nothing - just straight on the plane.

If for some reason you can't do that - like they are Aussie born from recent immigrants - then, jail and forget where you have put the key.

These sorts of actions would go a long way to salving the anger of the Pauline mob.

Example ---------- the dickwit from the Lindt cafe ------------- he should have been long long long gone ---- either deported if possible - or in jail never to be released.

The price is obvious if we don't do this ---- the damage we see on our streets, in our public transport and in our cafe's - and the political paralysis that we are now seeing - with sufficient people just giving the shove to both labor and liberals and going for people like Pauline and similar.

Australia, more than ever needs political guts -------- for the problems we have - and for the massive cultural and sociological changes that are coming ----------------- ready or not!
