That’s a really strange assessment. If all people were crated equal how come Australia’s indigenous people were treated as if they weren’t. No citizenship. Subjected to paternalistic patronising behaviour from white settlers and missionaries who thought they needed educating or reforming or fixing. Or worse those who saw them as fair game slaves or fair game full stop.
