there were and still are regulations for financial markets. unfortunately, those charged with enforcing them were either asleep at the wheel or paid off by certain interests.
passing control of financial and economic arena over to politicians will only make a bad situation worse.
neither swan or kevni have the requisite skills to make the right decisions in these areas.
politicians can't help themselves when it comes to regulating.....more they get, more they want
