I may be one of the people responsible for the high volumes bought on 14th October this year
I am on my second bout in to this stock .  . first buying it at 14 c and selling out at 27 c and now back in again with just under 400,000 units
I unfortunately missed out on the rights issue
But . . I haven't noticed any strange market behaviour in terms of normal trading
I just know its hard to get set unless you pay up to get some volume

The only reason i mention this is that I think people may be jumping to conclusions about larger parcels selling to certain shareholders wanting to manipulate the stock - on the open market where the rest of us have to deal
There are a few long term believers like me out there who also try and play the swings
(fool hardy as that may seem)

I am disappointed like others on this thread about what is going on
One of the things that interested me about this spec is apart from the obvious value - the current management team have been doing an amazing job considering their financial limitations - which now seem to have been addressed
I have a sense of loyalty and respect for the way they have been moving this project forward

I have only one question . . . ???
Apart from any cynical strategic intentions of this new crowd trying to wrest control .  . what possible value can they bring that isn't already being exercised by the current management?

Anyone venture to offer some suggestions about that?

Unless any logical reason is possible -  I will be voting with the current management and going to the meeting in Subiaco to do so

The current management need to contact ALL the shareholders and put our minds at rest about what they are doing to make sure we all travel together
They need to appeal to the 'shareholder family' who have been committed to this company

Splintering the energy force this company has created will cause headwinds
Especially when according to my analysis we are about to see gold move up again

I tried calling Trevor Dixon last week but still cant get a return call

I hope they communicate with us - and shore up everyones interests including their own -by making sure people stick together
They need to be writing to us asking for our loyalty - and making sure we all vote!
