According to the Jakarta Post the Indonesian Government has announced "non-negotiable" geothermal feed-in tariffs - so look out for an ann from PAX shortly. Price for Java is 11 cents US but no info about the price for Flores. There's 17 c for geothermal in Papua and 10 c in Sumatra.
Interesting comparison is made with current price for fuel (diesel?) power plants which is supposedly 35-45 c/kWh. In that case, 10-17 c for new geothermal is still hardly encouraging. The real comparison probably should be for new gas-fired plants which would be the main alternative to geothermal. If so, the new geothermal feed-in tariffs make more sense for PLN - but I don't think the foreign geothermal companies will be happy given the high developments risks in Indonesia.
