I take it two thirds of the cuts in mining have been achieved,especially those affecting the blast furnace cost base and some port costs UNLESS it was an all or nothing vote????
MBR Export Miners probably feel the company generating $5 a ton cash is good enough.
Next month it may be a far different story if the IO price trends back.
The SA treasurer stating publicly the Govt would offer some funding provided the steelworks stayed open.
All more positive than negative.

If they can't get there IO costs under $40 they should close the mine, I believe those high cost shipping contracts they signed expire in September so that should help.
