Meekatharra was only a small town in the early days so in time back then most mine sites were strongly influence by the army thats why we still today call them diggers. And yes your right about the water it was flowing in faster than they could get it out. They had an old cornish pump down to the 300 foot level so yeah they did have problems the first 200 feet wasent so hard when iam saying this i mean from the top of the ground where they first started to open cut down to 30 feet then sunk shaft down 100 feet and came right into the ore bearing gold . Then 200 feet .Then 300 feet sorry . 100 meters later its still very rich and with today's technology i dont think THX will have a problem. Only with people who dont believe in what they are doing and my advice to them is just wait and see.
