Lotsagrit I share your sentiments about the both the Aussie and Peruvian prospects (except “expect” is too strong a word for me). On p12 of the Jun Quarterly (ICG 19.7.21), “Central: Drill permitting” is listed as an activity at Riqueza this current quarter. It appears the plan is to apply for two separate category 2 DIA permits – one covering the proposed “Central” drilling program (ICG 31.8.20) and the other covering “Southern Part of Riqueza” (21.9.20). Separate permits are required because of a limit on drilling platform numbers (ICG 18.11.20). Here’s a summary of the proposed programs:

The plan foresaw this second phase of drilling following straight on from the current phase at NE Riqueza, however Ross Brown made it quite clear in a 25.3.21 interview that the second phase would go ahead only if the current NE Riqueza phase was successful - a relative term and Ross did not expand on it. The current 6070m program should be completed in the 2nd half of Jan 22 (based on an ongoing 30m/day drill rate), with final assays a month or so later. A DIA permit for “Central” would cover the same ground as the Humaspunco/Uchpanga drilling of 2017 and that should facilitate a faster process, but with the recent history of permit delays, it’s anyone’s guess whether, if required, a permit would be granted in time to allow seamless follow on. There is a lot hanging on the NE Riqueza drilling.
