Regarding this movie which is partially based on various facts - In my early investing days, I was in the a stock called Montague Gold & it as virtually "parked" as price was in the doldrums (wasn't paying much attention to it - was hoping for a hail mary). Suddenly out of the blue, I got a call from my broker who said hold onto those shares - you could be rich ! I suddenly took notice & found that the rights for Busang was sold for $180,000 at the time. Months later they suddenly find this huge deposit (I wish sometimes some stocks could work this quick !). Well anyway, Montague suddenly took notice & proceedings were going to take place - I think in regard to possession / ownership of tenement (whatever it was hope which you need to have in some of these stocks). Price of Montague also increased in a fair manner during this time (nothing like Bre X). Moral of the story is that I should of sold some shares & taken a profit rather than be greedy & go for the jugular ! LOL
