The CCP have not "adopted capitalism".

China is very much a centralized economy, not a free market economy.
CCP capitalisim is purely at the behest of the State. The State will invest in companies and use them to achieve the State's strategic objectives.

If anyone steps out of line and makes too much money, the State will punish them. Just look at what they did to Jack Ma.
