I also noted the quality of the strike compared to Rossing, much higher grades and little difference in amount if the cutoff is 100 or 200 ppm.
He also made much of the depth of sand cover. If Rio are successfully mining Rossing to a depth of 350m, then when Rossing South has a sand depth of 50 m (?? can't quite remember the exact figure) that doesn't seem like an obstacle.
Heck, Rio could just warehouse Rossing and move their operations over completely to Rossing South.
