Hi kalmsg,

I too have held stocks to the 10 bagger stage (BSG, CMR, SMM) so dont follow his strategy all the time....but do believe that in many situations, taking profit in a rising market is the thing to do.

.........Partic when you are holding highly speculative companies trading at unrealistic premiums.

For me, companies have to be very special to hold for the huge gains.....most I trade for free carry,....and then keep selling into strength. As they say.."you never go broke taking a profit"

By the way ARU is one of those companies that I consider special........so I wont be trading it for a long time!

Each to their own, but since so many lose money in the market, it seems that greed tends to rule the emotions ...many times stopping people from taking sensible profits ...so I like the general thrust of his comments

....and the guy now has his own bank to fund projects that he likes..........almost always during the early stages of development.......works for him!
