Didnt' expect to see us this low either loki. It hasn't had its fare share of revaluations upwards though, seemed to always lag when others like NST etc were shooting through the roof.
Fair call re: price of gold for obvious basic price/financial reasons and implications. Not sure if the price drop has warranted to the POG drop. Seems either a) the market is pricing in further pandemonium in POG, b) ramp up or somethign else fundamentally/structurally with the mines is going wrong that we don't know about or c) a withdrawl of a large holder placing selling pressure. Obviously hoping it's c).
Not sure if there's a hot copper US/canadian equivalent, would certainly think so. Hopefully someone else can shed more light, still think cash costs aren't the worse. If you consider a $1.80 sp and a drop fo $0.50, it's been a 27.7% fall in SP. not very correlated to POG but i'm the opposite -s till holding alot of goldies and agree that nothing really makes sense.
Although as they say - be greedy when others are fearful and if it works out right the opposite effect coudl happen with an uncorrelated rise back up should things prove oversold or quite the opposite. Can't be too optimistic these crazy days though.
