G'Day Azzumah,
I bought in yesterday after reading up a little on MIG's announcements over the past few months.
I couldn't find anywhere that stated that a 77.5 cent div per stapled security, payable in two parts, for the fin year ending June 30 2005, was to be paid.
When it was announced yesterday as a guidance, MIG was trading around $3.90.
After reading some of the posts yesterday, I decided to buy in and take advantage of A) That fantastic dividend; & B) The gain in share price that must follow once people become aware of what a massive dividend 77.5 cents is on a $3.90-$4.00 share. (currently)
Of the people that posted on MIG yesterday following the AGM announcements, could you please tell me if I am missing something?
I must be!
The first part of the dividend has a record date of 31/12/04, after which you are entitled to the 63.75 cent dividend.
Surely, if I am not missing something important, this is great news for the share price, company and shareholder.

Goblin, goblins, top-pick, rottenegg, Ajaz...can you assist me on this???

I will sincerely appreciate any comments.
