Ok I'm no legal expert Benny, let's say ISX won against ASX first thing they would do is, don't know the correct words, but would want a retrial. Then let's say the ASIC case found enough just to give ISX a slap on the wrist and a fine, Benny I'm just speculating here. So ASX don't have much but the ruling from ASIC, they could use in 3 ways drag it out longer, maybe come to an agreement with ISX, or use what they have with ASIC hoping there's enough to win the case. So, getting the ASIC case out of the way first makes complete sense, If ISX are in trouble big time with ASIC, ISX will understand how they can move on.
